Andy's Graduation Party

Sunday, July 5th mom and dad hosted a graduation party for my nephew Andy. My sister Beth and her three kids were in for a week to celebrate Andy's H.S. graduation and for Beth to attend her H.S. reunion. Here are a few pictures from the party.

We were SO blessed to have my cousin Stephanie, her husband Michael and their little one Anuhea in from N. Carolina. An 18-month old can be pretty entertaining. Stephanie and I are excited that soon Anuhea will have a playmate close to her age.

Happy 5th Birthday Allison Rose! Although her bday wasn't until the 8th, Friday night we celebrated Allie's birthday with some very yummy ice cream cake! Allison especially enjoyed the sprinkles and icing! Thank you Josh and Molly for inviting us to share in Allison's birthday!

Before and After

Anthony and I spent the weekend putting in a flowerbed! Oh, the joys of being an old married couple, as we are so often reffered to as. It really was enjoyable, and now the front of our house looks like someone lives there.

Finished product! Looks better, don't you think? We planted some boxwoods and phlox in the front and dwarf zinnias in our "wheelbarrow" to the side of the bed.

Happy Easter!!

The night before Easter, Anthony and I went out with a few friends to celebrate the holiday. We visited many of Warrenton and Wentzville's finest establishments! Here are a few pictures.

New Beginnings!

Anthony and I have discussed for some time my next move--professionally. With the sluggish job market and my ultimate goals of owning my own daycare, we made the decision for me to start my own daycare from our home. I am looking at providing infant/toddler care to start out. Please wish me luck for this transition and of course spread the good news to all of your friends! The name of my business will be "First Steps Childcare" and will take place in our home in Jonesburg. (refer to my new blog site for just the daycare... firststepschildcare.blogspot.com ) Wish me luck.

Family Visit

I love my family, and I love our get-togethers. This past weekend, we had an impromptu get-together for my cousin Stephanie, her husband Mike and their little girl Anuhea who drove in from N. Carolina. We enjoyed our February-thanksgiving meal. The food was delicous and we enjoyed the games too. Here are some pictures from the event.

Okay,
So I'm having issues with the internet company, but we should be up and running by Thurs. so I can finally post pictures of Anthony's graduation, Christmas, etc. Unfortunately all of my pictures are at home on my computer. I just wanted to congratulate Matt and Marie for thier new addition & welcome the rest of my Early Childhood Class to the blogging world. The class has created a blog, after a year and a half of constant togetherness we are feeling withdrawls from each other! We just thought it would be nice to post lessons and experiances.
